Protect Your Account From Fraud

We have recently been informed of an increase in fraudulent activities related to Amazon. Fraudsters are contacting individuals via phone, claiming to be from Amazon and alerting them about large purchases on their account. They offer to cancel the order but then request personal account information to do so. Please be aware that these requests are not legitimate.

We want to assure you that Teamsters Council #37 Federal Credit Union will never solicit your personal or account information through email, text message, or phone call. If you ever feel uncomfortable or uncertain about any communication you receive regarding your account, please contact us directly at 503-251-2390.

To protect yourself from fraud, remember to:

  • Verify the source of any communication.
  • Never share personal or financial information unless you are certain of the recipient’s identity.
  • Monitor your accounts regularly for any unauthorized transactions.
  • Use strong, unique passwords and enable two-factor authentication.
  • Report any suspicious activity immediately.
