Coping with COVID-19

As businesses in Oregon gradually reopen from the recent lockdown to slow the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19), Teamsters Council #37 Federal Credit Union remains committed to the safety and well-being of our members and employees. Here is what we are doing at this point in the reopening process:

  1. Effective Wednesday, June 22, our Main Office will be open from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Click here for Salem Office hours. Contact our shared Hood River and Springfield offices directly for current business hours.
  2. Members should avoid coming to any of our offices unless necessary! TCU staff remain available by phone and online during normal business hours.
  3. In accordance with state government guidelines, staff and members are required to wear a face mask and practice social distancing while inside a Credit Union office. Hand sanitizer is also available and should be used before and after transactions.
  4. We strongly encourage members to do their banking from home or work. Please see below for details.

Banking from Home or Work

Getting Cash
Use your TCU Debit Card to obtain cash at nearly any ATM or store checkout terminal. Avoid a surcharge at MoneyPass ATMs, which include all US Bank branch locations and many are drive-thru. Find MoneyPass ATMs here.

Making Payments
Pay your bills online, either directly at service provider websites (electric, gas, water, etc.) or through our free Online Bill Pay service. You need to be enrolled in our free Online Banking service in order to use Bill Pay.

Making Deposits
If you need to deposit a check, do it quickly and easily with our mobile app (iOS and Android) on your smart phone or tablet. The app will walk you through endorsing, photographing, and submitting each check. It only takes a minute!

If you need to deposit cash and have not had any symptoms of any sort for at least 14 days, bring your deposit to a TCU office. Please have your cash and deposit slip ready and practice social distancing at all times. We have hand sanitizer available at our offices.

Making Transfers
You can transfer between TCU accounts through our free Online Banking service. Most transfers between financial institutions can also be handled through Online Banking (initial online setup between your accounts at different institutions is usually necessary). Please call us at 800-547-7657 if you need assistance.

Getting a Loan
You can apply for a TCU loan at our website or by calling us a 800-547-7657. There is no need to come to a TCU office unless we say so. All of the paperwork can be handled by electronic documents or the US Mail.

Your fellow Teamsters working at TCU are here for you! If you are unsure how to get some banking done, please just give us a call at 800-547-7657. There is no need to come to a TCU office. Please help us slow the spread of COVID-19!
